Active Abundance

Jennifer Hoffman, July 11, 2011

We can live passively-waiting for things to happen or to get better, or actively-using our manifestation abilities to create the reality that we want in the next moment, no matter what appears to be happening in this one. Our life can be one of active abundance, where we are in a constant state of receiving effortless miracles every day, or passive abundance, where we seem to get what we want after a great deal of difficulty, at the last minute, receiving much of what we do not want or nothing at all.  The choice of active or passive abundance is ours and the results of our choices will be reflected in our reality.

The word abundance immediately brings to mind money and having everything we want (even those things we think are impossible). If we had abundance, wouldn’t we have a lot of money and all of our current lack would be replaced with things that brought us joy? Abundance exists in all things, including what we want and what we don’t want. We can’t judge abundance because it’s a universal principle. If we have no money then we have an abundance of lack. If we are unhappy then we have an abundance of sadness. Our lives reflect the abundance we have created in each moment and we have abundance in everything, including problems and chaos. If that is the state of our reality, then we are manifesting through the beliefs that create those things. Universal law doesn’t judge between conscious and unconscious creation, it simply responds to our energy and intention.

When we engage in active abundance we use the power of our thoughts to constantly focus on what we want in our lives. And no matter what our reality looks like at the moment, we know that it can be changed. To create abundance in what we think are ‘good’ things we must be active in the process and that includes being willing to trust and have faith while we focus on what we want, or walking through doors that open for us. Being passive in this process, waiting for ‘good things’ to happen, will bring us uneven results that may not be exactly what we want.

This week, consider the kind of abundance that you have in your life right now. If it is joy, peace and unconditional love, that’s wonderful. If not, what is your intention for your life and what are you doing to become an active participant in the process of creating abundance? Remember that abundance is not about money, it’s about being in the flow of all of the joy, peace, love and the other wonderful, fulfilling things that you want in your life. We must be active participants in the abundance process in order to manifest it in our lives, which means focusing our intention on what we want and walking, fearlessly, through the doors that open for us. Practice active abundance and you will manifest the miracles that you deserve and desire.

Act Your Age?

Jennifer Hoffman, July 11, 2011

Do you feel much younger than your physical age? Do you look at your parents and realize that you look, act and think much differently than they did at your age? Do you have problems knowing how to ‘act your age’ and can’t fulfill the expectations of what someone your age is ‘supposed’ to do? Welcome to the world of adult Indigos and Crystals, who are introducing new way of being for middle age and beyond because instead of being the twilight years, these are actually the dawn of a new life and lifestyle for us. We are an ageless generation whose physical age does not determine where they are in life and who can easily look, act and feel decades younger. While the media tries to promote 20 as the ideal age, we know better.

There was a time when 60 was considered old and 70 was ancient. But now 50 is where many of us feel that we finally able to live our life and instead of declining, we feel more powerful, confident and purposeful than we ever have before. We also feel like we are finally in control of our life and destiny and can start living the life that we want. Much of our life has been a healing journey which we are now completing and now we can be the passionate, creative, motivated and productive person we always wanted to be and knew that we could be, once the healing journey was over. So what age are we going to act? And we can act any age we choose because those are no longer boundaries for us.

The rules of behavior that have been expected of certain age groups do not apply to Indigos and Crystals. How do you act when your physical body is 60 but you feel half that age and you have the motivation, energy and confidence to accomplish what you would never have tried in your 20s? Since we are no longer assured of ‘retirement’ (and who wants to), will live far longer than previous generations and still have many things we want to do, what does someone ‘our age’ act like? Many of us are finally able to put energy into our dreams, or have the time and confidence to pursue them, at an age where previous generations were getting out their rocking chairs so they could spent their ‘twilight years’ on their porch, making ice cream with their grandchildren.

Most Indigos and Crystals are ‘late bloomers’, they don’t really embrace their energy, confidence and purpose until they are well into adulthood. For some of us that is happening now, even though we are 40, 50, 60 or older. Our physical age can be a reminder that we are getting ‘older’ or it can become the opportunity to shed our doubts and fears and begin to live a life unencumbered by ‘should haves’ and ‘didn’t dos’ because now we can. Age no longer matters; what does matter is how much you want something, how willing you are to live with passion and purpose and whether you can give yourself the gift of your dreams, knowing that with age comes wisdom and experience and in our case, the confidence to put our open hearts, passion for change and ability to dream big for ourselves and for the world to good use. So act the age that you feel is right for you, whatever that is, and open your heart to your potential, which is the gift of being an Indigo or Crystal.

The Many Paths of Healing

A message from Archangel Uriel channelled by Jennifer Hoffman

July 11, 2011

Each of you knows someone who appears to go effortlessly through life. They do not appear to have lessons to learn or have any major life issues. Their lives are not filled with worries and everything seems to be effortless for them. And they may not appear to have any spiritual connections, are not focused on their spiritual journey and yet seem to enjoy a life that you would like to create for yourself. Why, you may ask, do you have to be on a healing journey and not them? Why do you have to heal and they do not? Are they special or know something that you do not?

Each soul chooses its healing journey according to what it needs to experience in a lifetime. Each  journey is unique, reflecting that soul’s lessons and learning, wounds and need for healing. And each one can choose to experience a healing path or ignore it call, as well as choosing how that path will unfold and who will be involved. From your viewpoint another’s may appear to be so much easier than yours. But you are not aware of their soul’s healing commitment in this lifetime or what they have experience in other lifetimes. These details are hidden from you, as are the details of your soul’s healing journey hidden from others. Each healing journey is a process of learning, growth, transformation and ascension and while each is different, the purpose is the same, to help each one overcome fear, find and reclaim their power and to arrive at a greater spiritual understanding.

You heal because it is what your soul is called to do. This can be a difficult and painful process or it can be easy and painless. All of its aspects are optional and of your choosing, consciously or unconsciously. You do not have to experience pain in order to heal.  The person who appears to be experience a life without lessons could actually have made the choice to experience their healing journey without pain and chaos. Since you believe that healing is accompanied by pain, you choose that form of healing. You can choose other ways to heal that are far less painful and disruptive once you align your mind and spirit and make those choices.

Your healing journey also benefits everyone in your soul group. Each healing experience that you complete benefits you as well as all of those involved. Together, you have all chosen a particular healing journey. But how you experience the healing is up to you. When you choose to heal without pain, you grant the same choice to everyone in your soul group. As you learn to appreciate your lessons you can find the beauty in the healing process and you will know that you heal because it is the gift of the soul, an opportunity for you and all of humanity to learn to heal without pain, to live without fear and to move forward along your collective spiritual path. You heal because you have come to change the world and heal its emotional and spiritual wounds, which are a mirror of your own wounds. Each of you has the power to heal yourself, your soul group and the world. And you can do so without pain, gracefully, and move the world into alignment with its highest vibrations, align humanity with spirit, move into higher dimensions of being and ascend with grace and ease.

No Pain, No Gain

Jennifer Hoffman, July 11, 2011

If we want to have a tone and trim body, we have to suffer through long hours of exercise. If we want to be successful in any area of our life we must be willing to make painful personal sacrifices. If we want to do well in school we have to study hard.  If we believe the ‘no pain, no gain’ theory then we believe that anything that we want will be hard to acquire and that unless we work hard we will fail to get it.  Many of us have heard this message for so long that we believe it is true, to the point where we believe that if we do not work hard, sacrifice and suffer that we will not succeed in life. What is wrong with this picture?

Our reality is created through our beliefs so if we believe that pain must occur before we achieve our goals, we will spend time suffering before we receive our blessings. And the ‘no pain, no gain’ belief can extend into many areas of our life. We can even have the belief that we are a better person if we suffer or that the more we suffer the greater our reward will be. What we are just beginning to learn is that we can have the rewards without the suffering, and that the ‘no pain, no gain’ mentality is a thing of the past.

Think of one thing that you want to have in your life right now, perhaps a new car. If you believe that buying a new car means financial struggle then you have created a space for the pain to happen before the gain can occur. Yes, you need and want a new car but you will have to go through some pain in order to get it. Now, without the ‘no pain, no gain’ mentality, you simply focus on getting a new car. How is it going to come to you without suffering? Any number of ways, someone could give you a car or you could buy it at a very reasonable price from someone who needs to sell it quickly, or you could win one in a contest, etc.  Once we remove the belief that we have to experience pain to receive what we want, we are open to the limitless possibilities for what we want to come to us.

If we have the ‘no pain, no gain’ mentality, we essentially tell ourselves that pain is a prerequisite for all of the good in our lives. If that is the case, are there goals that we avoid or things that we do not ask for because we don’t want to experience the pain?  Once we rid ourselves of the ‘no pain, no gain’ mentality we can move forward through the manifestation process much more quickly because we can eliminate the pain and suffering and move on to enjoying what we manifest. It’s an easy process to identify-what do you think you have to suffer, emotionally, financially, materially or in terms of time or effort, to receive what you have asked for? That’s the pain. Let the Universe be your partner in co-creation, set your intention for what you want and create the space for them to roll into your life, painlessly.

The Energies of July

Jennifer Hoffman, July 4, 2011

www.urielheals.com

June certainly turned out to be an action packed month. With two eclipses and the Solstice, everyone was affected by some aspect of June’s energies. Whether it was a necessary ending, a forced realization or a life change whose time had come, there was a finality to the shifts that occurred which did not leave any question as to the need to take a different path, to change a belief or to consider other options. We all learned lessons about expectations, release and closure that came in many forms, often from those we least expected. And to have closure and start on a new path we learned that we should release the teacher so we could embrace the lesson.

July opens with another eclipse, this one creating a powerful opening for new beginnings that are possible when we have released the past. Some of what occurred in June may feel like unfinished business because we don’t have closure. But part of June’s lessons were to give ourselves the closure we want from someone. Are they sorry, did they mean it, do they care, could things have been different?  None of those questions matter because this was our lesson in releasing those things, including people, which limit our joy. And that release may have come in an abrupt way that we weren’t ready for.

If we focus too much on closure and the ending, we do not allow the next door to open. No matter how difficult the lesson, closure is something we often have to give ourselves and hoping that someone will give it to us only delays the inevitable realization that the new beginning we ask for also requires an ending in some aspect of our life. This month will, in some ways, be a welcome relief from the last six months of activity, partly because we can start expanding our lives based on the lessons that we have learned.

But this is not a process of re-building because everything has changed. This is a fresh start, a new beginning that requires new thinking, different energies and a total break from the past. July’s potential may be delayed if we approach it from a focus on the past and try to rebuild from its ashes. To fully utilize these energies we have to use what we learned from January through June to re-invent ourselves. What do we want, what makes us happy, how much are we willing to expand our vision of our life and its potential? And, most importantly, how much are we willing to set our intention and trust that it will unfold in the most perfect way? We have powerful support for re-invention this month, as we step into the second half of 2011. Whatever it takes to give you closure, do it now so you can release the past and step forward into a confident, bright and powerful new beginning. Have a great month.

The Energies of June

Jennifer Hoffman, May 30, 2011

www.urielheals.com

Hasn’t it been an interesting year so far? And it has gone by quickly, as we are now entering the sixth month of 2011 and are only six months away from the beginning of 2012. So far this year we’ve seen unprecedented demands for social and political reform, unusual weather that includes some of the most devastating storms in a century, and the revelation of financial and political misdeeds that will continue for the rest of this year. And that’s just what is happening in the world, much more is happening with in our own lives. What’s going to happen next?

June is going to be an exciting month with three eclipses, starting June 1 and the Solstice June 21. Whenever a month begins with an eclipse we can expect powerful transformation. The June 1 eclipse is in Gemini, a sign that rules communication-expect some revelations about the media industry and demands for change. The eclipse of June 17 conjuncts the Galactic Center, the powerful midpoint of our galaxy, the unfolding center of our galaxy. The July 1 eclipse aspects Pluto, which is creating the kind of social and political disruption last seen in the 1770s, its previous transit through Capricorn, inspired by our new energies, self awareness and desire for connection. And we have the Solstice on June 21, bringing in powerful, extreme emotional energies. There is no more middle of the road, we must choose our path.

We are being pushed to being in integrity with ourselves and each other, recognizing our connection as the family of humanity. We may feel challenged on every level as we strive to assert our truth but that is because we feel we have to create, move and carry the energy and light of transformation. What if we assert our truth without the fear that challenges will be present at every turn? What if we just assume that we already are what we wish to become and powerfully assert our desires within the context of that knowing? Can we remember that we work with the Universe as co-creators? Are we going to live our lives in fear or in our truth? We can always find something to be afraid of but if we refuse to be in fear, then fear has nothing to connect to and it simply goes away.

That is a big choice for all of us as we enter this powerful month. We can be our pain or our power, our truth or in denial. We can try to fight the darkness or remember that it also has a place in the grand scheme of ascension. The beautiful stars we see in the night sky still shine in the daytime, we just can’t see them because of the light of the sun. What beauty lies within our darkness that the light can reveal? We are spiritual warriors but our weapon is not the sword, it is our truth, our faith, our knowing and our commitment to the light. What can you transform in your life to be more powerful? What can you transform within yourself to release your fears? June will bring opportunities to express your truth and when you take them, you allow the light to be your sword that will reveal your path through the darkness and into a higher and greater truth

Whose Truth is True?

Jennifer Hoffman, May 9, 2011

www.urielheals.com

We spend our lives wanting to know the truth because, as we are told, ‘the truth shall set us free.’ But as we search for the truth we begin to see that there is not a single truth, everyone has a different version of the truth and even in our own lives, that which we think of as true can change many times. So what is true and what is not true? If a truth changes, was it ever true in the first place? Will we ever know the truth? And when we know the truth, what happens to everything else we have known up to that time?

The truth is everything we believe based on all of our knowing and experience up until that moment in time. While we look for the truth as the final answer, it is actually what allows us to ask the next question. Truth repeats itself, like an endless loop, until we uncover a new truth that allows us to move forward, beyond the former truth. Each truth leads to another truth and for each of us, that truth is highly personal and so individualized that it can only be true for us. While our truth is true for us, everyone’s truth is also true, for them. Can we connect with others from the point of our own truth? We can when our truth has points in common and there is no doubt present.

The truth that we deserve love, for example, is true for us. And we must have an unshakable belief in this truth to attract love. But what happens if we find someone who doesn’t believe we are lovable? Is our truth still true? What about their truth? Is it true for us too? Our truth is not affected when it cannot be validated by someone else, it simply means that it isn’t true for them. They can’t validate that we are lovable because they must have a corresponding truth-that they are lovable. If they do not hold that truth, then they cannot validate it for someone else. But we take this as a sign that our truth is not true and use it to judge ourselves, our truths, our being and our life. Whoever we ask to validate our truth must have a corresponding truth. If not, they cannot validate ours. So the person who cannot accept you as lovable has issues with accepting themselves as lovable.

When we want others to validate our truth we are taking truth down a path that it wasn’t meant to follow. Because when we ask others to establish what is true for us, we are speaking from our doubt instead of faith in our own truth. If we can’t convince ourselves of our truth, we won’t find anyone to do the job for us. What do you believe is true about you? Can you hold that truth no matter how others respond or react? Are you able to create from your truth in this moment and know that once you have made this true, you are ready for the next step on your life? Find your truth about yourself, engrave it permanently on your heart and within your being so you hold fast to your truth and use it to manifest your life in the way you want to live it.

Mother’s Day

Jennifer Hoffman, May 9, 2011

www.urielheals.com

Sunday, May 8 we celebrated Mothers’ Day in the U.S. And it’s a day that we can have mixed feelings about because maybe our mother was not the loving, considerate, thoughtful greeting card model. Instead, she may have been abusive, jealous, mean and inconsiderate. She may have betrayed or abandoned us, not loved us enough or have given her child up for adoption. Yet our mother is our most important karmic relationship and the contract between child and mother is a sacred promise to bring a new life into the world so its healing journey can be completed.

No matter how much we glorify or idealize the idea of motherhood, it is the vehicle through which we all enter the world. We choose a mother and father who have the energies, karmic history, soul group connections and emotional DNA we need to embody in a lifetime and they become our parents. What happens after that is part of our journey of healing and reconnection and we can use that information and those experiences to heal and transform or allow them to become another karmic cycle for us.

We expect our mother to be the paragon of perfection that we believe is the definition of motherhood and think we have been short changed if she isn’t. Then we grieve for the missing ‘good enough mother’, who loves, protects, supports and nurtures us. But who has a mother like that? In my experience, most Lightworkers do not. What we need to ask about is our contract with them and theirs with us, what lessons they held for us and how our time with them has allowed us to grow in body, mind, emotions and spirit. What is the healing we can to complete with our mother, her energies, the mother/child paradigm she taught us and how can we do things differently?

Our generation, those of us who have had children since the 1970s, has to change the mother/child paradigm. And it was through our interaction with our mothers that enabled us to do things differently with our children and be the mother to them that we wanted for ourselves. On this Mother’s Day celebrate your life, your presence and your purpose, reflect on the healing and transformation you have done in your life and thank your mother for bringing you here. Then release any anger, regret, sorrow or guilt so you can look at your mother without blame and see her as she is, another presence on the journey that is your lifetime. Use this day to also celebrate the feminine energy, which we all embody and whose expression, in the spiritual sense, is the embodiment of perfect and unconditional love. The feminine energy represents our capacity to give unconditional love and forgiveness to everyone, which is the highest aspect of the feminine energy. And we should take a moment to celebrate Mother Earth, the beautiful planet on which we live, which nourishes and sustains us all.

Who Are You Being?

a message from Archangel Uriel, channeled by Jennifer Hoffman

May 2, 2011

www.urielheals.com

In every moment and every situation, with every person and in every thought you are being some aspect of yourself. Some of these aspects are grounded in spirit, others in your humanity. Some are grounded in the past, others are in the present moment. Some of your aspects reflect the lowest of your vibrational aspects and others reflect your highest energies. Who you are is a collection of energies, each are possibilities of expression and you choose which ones you want to express depending on your intention for yourself and your reality.

When you express an intention to fulfill your highest potential, you must connect with the energetic levels that allow this potential to become your reality. And it is at these times you can become confused and feel stuck because this may not be a comfortable or familiar energetic space for you. If you have been withholding your gifts, limiting your energetic expression or supporting others’ needs, being in your own energy and power can overwhelm your human aspect. While you know that you have power, how much power is available to you and what to do with that power can be challenging.

You are being an aspect of your self at all times and this is where you manifest your reality. If you are experiencing lack then you are being that aspect which believes you are not worthy of greater blessings. If you are feeling powerless then you are expressing an aspect that fears or is unaware or afraid of your power. If you feel unloved then you are expressing aspects that believe you are not worthy of love. What you are in each moment is where you are connecting to the energies and vibrations that allow you to express that aspect. A change in who you want to be, in the energies you want to embody, will empower your transformation.

All things are a potential for you, from the lowest to the highest of vibrations, from the greatest to the smallest reality, from the most to the least powerful energetic expressions. Any of these is a potential reality and your reality reflects the one you are most comfortable with in each moment. But as you become more aware of your spiritual light, the power within and the presence of your more powerful aspects you create an opening for their expression and they become your reality. There is none better or worse than another, all are part or your energy field and are right for you as you choose to express them. But when you choose to be your most powerful self, to allow your humanity to partner with your divine aspects, to become the co-creator that is your divine destiny, you will embrace the most powerful of your aspects and allow them to be who you are being in each moment.

The Energies of May

Jennifer Hoffman, May 2, 2011

www.urielheals.com

With Mercury in a challenging retrograde all month April was not easy. We may have had some powerful lessons in releasing things which did not serve us, seeing others as they are and accepting others’ in their own energy and light, all of which take us back to ourselves and what we want in our lives. Our path is individual and while we may have others walking beside us, we have to learn to put ourselves first. This may have been pointed out to you more than once in April and it will set the foundation for what happens in May. And since Mercury is in its shadow until May 11, you may have a few more opportunities to do that.

This month will be about putting plans in motion, setting aside any need to do for others, to be in their lives as a light or supportive presence in ways that do not take energy from our purpose. As we move farther into this year we will need all of our energy to support our life vision and fulfill our intention to have the joy, love and abundance that we want. What we have discovered so far this year is that giving our energy to others takes away from our purpose. Whatever we try to be for them takes away from our ability to be present in our own life.

The events of the year so far may have confused us even more about our life goals and what we really want. The thought of taking action may be too much to consider since while we may be ready for that, we have no idea of which direction to take. Taking action is a process that begins with being, not doing. Doing is the result, we have to ‘be’ by setting the intention and establishing the energy for the direction that can take. So use this month to get used to your freedom, find your power, establish your boundaries and set the foundation for what you want to do.

As we begin the month on an energized note, the momentum is there for us to use. First we must get used to being in our own energy, free of distractions and energy drains. If we are not powering others’ dreams we will have the time and energy we need to fulfill our own. How can we be powerful in our own lives? What do our dreams look like? What is the first step, the second, and so on? If it is too overwhelming to try to see the big picture, what are the smaller steps that we can take each day to stay connected to our vision for our life, to fulfill our purpose and be present in our energy, every moment of every day. As I said in the 2011 predictions, June to August are powerful times and May is the time for preparation as April’s endings paved the way for new beginnings. So prepare, get focused, be at peace, dream big and have a wonderful month.
